Attend small group Spanish classes in a 150-year-old building in the heart of the city, near La Puerta del Sol and major museums and landmarks. Madrid is the business, government, cultural and entertainment center of Spain. It’s a modern, cosmopolitan and hospitable city that boasts the most prestigious museums in the country (El Museo del Prado, El Centro de Arte Reina Sofía and El Museo Thyssen-Bornemisza) and the greatest number of theatres and clubs. Many of Spain’s most important historic monuments are also found in Madrid, including El Palacio Real. Don’t miss the lively Sunday scene in El Parque del Retiro!

Madrid is lively during the day and especially known for its exciting nightlife, often referred to as “La Movida Madrileña”, or the Madrid Scene. In addition to more traditional entertainment, there are many clubs and discotheques for all tastes from salsa to jazz, as well as pubs, cafes, casinos, and flamenco dancing. And with its many restaurants to suit assorted budgets you’ll find plenty of opportunity to try all sorts of “raciones”, or portions, of typical Spanish food.

All courses for students with prior knowledge of Spanish may begin on any Monday (arrive Sunday).

What People are Saying

“For anyone looking for a Spanish school in Madrid, I highly recommend it. I have studied in language schools in Costa Rica, Mexico, Chile, and Italy, and it ranks right near the top in terms of competence and professionalism. I took an advanced one-on-one class for two weeks and was extremely satisfied. Be sure to participate in all the excursions with Angel because he will make history and art come alive for you, especially in trips to the Prado and other art museums.” -Jacob, USA
